It seems like PowerStore 2 could be used for event registration and payment with a little customization of the database fields, removal of shipping options, etc. I suspect that the "inventory" of seats available in a class can be handled much the same way as regular product inventory? Are there other WA applications that might need to be integrated into the overall PS2 solution?

This particular client will have multiple events, and event categories/types, such as education classes and seminars, etc. In most cases site visitors will learn about these from a calendar on the website. Since WA does not have a calendar application or solution, can you recommend one that might integrate nicely with a WA solution as described above?

I think the only thing you will need to add to the PowerStore would be the dates for the event and when the user registered. This can be handled with a couple more fields for your product table.

When it comes to the calendar tool I do not have any good suggestions for this, perhaps some others in the community have a recommendation.

I too am interested in using PowerStore to sell seats in training courses. Now that version 4 is out, are there any thoughts concerning PS's ability to handle event registration payments beyond those posted by Eric and Robert back in '09?
