I am trying to upload a flash movie into iRite. Once the movie is on the server, I can select it and insert it into my content, but I cannot upload the movie to the server. When I browse for the file and start the upload process, I receive an error that says "Invalid File" and nothing more. I can't upload flash files through the interface. Has anybody else encountered this and how can I fix this?

Most likely it is a problem with the file size and not the fact that it is a flash movie. How large is the upload? Have you tried with a really small flash movie?

The file size is 19.5 kb.

in the folder: "filemanager/upload/php/config.php"
it should have your file types listed. What do the last 6 lines of code look like on that page?
Does it work when you upload images?

This is in ColdFusion, so I have an upload.cfm file. WA_iRite/editor/filemanager/connectors/upload.cfm. Is this the file you are referring to?

Try downloading the latest version of fckeditor from www.fckeditor.com... download the .zip and replace the /editor/ folder with the new version. Maybe this is a bug in the editor itself that has been fixed.

Is this what you want me to download? FCKeditor 2.6.4.1?
http://www.fckeditor.net/download

yes.
You will find an /editor/ folder in there. Copy that and replace the one in your iRite directory.

I uploaded the new editor folder to the site and now I'm getting an error message that the connector is disabled.

Okay, I fixed that by tweaking the config.cfm file, but I'm still getting the same error when trying to upload flash files.

It must be a problem with the coldfusion server uploading the files. I guess you should open a support incident and somebody will have to debug this with you over the phone. Sorry for the run-around I thought maybe the version update would help.
You can also look at the forums on fckeditor.com... it doesn't appear this is a problem with our implementation, so maybe others have run into the same issue.

I think it would be best if someone just called me, if that's okay...

OK... just open a support incident and include your phone number and somebody can contact you to debug it with you.
