View Full Version : Dropdown giving me problems

Hi Ray.....before I appled the Dynamic Dropdown script, my css layout worked great. After I applied the Dynamic Dropdown script the content area moves down. View the page at http://d1285340.u27.houstonwebhost.net/indextest.php . Also when I apply the script the CSS font applied in my main.css messes up. I just dont understand it. I have tried and tried to figure this out. Can you help?

You have to move the <script> block that Dynamic Dropdowns adds to the top of the page into the <head> to prevent it from messing up the look. It is because it moves the doctype definition from the first line throwing off the look of the entire page.

I will work on the look of the page. Thank you for the quick response. I have another question, I dont know what to do with the submit button. The tutorial only gives instructions up to this point. I have the 3 dropdowns that you can see on the link I sent earlier. I need to be able to search the tires size on the results page. But I dont know what happens the submit button.

Use DataAssist Search and filter based on the tire size field.
