I have a client who wants to be able to change the content of the pages (not just the products) on their Powerstore site.
Can PowerCMS be used on a Powerstore site?

Yes, you can integrate powerCMS into a powerStore site.

Excellent .... before I do anything regarding the MySQL database I'd like to run it by you first. Now that I've got the site functioning properly the thought of mucking up the database gives me nightmares.
In your instructions under your "What Do You Need to Start?" you say "An empty MySQL database already created".
Obviously my database is not empty - it's full of tables and products added via Powerstore.
I just need some reassurance that executing the script is not going to change any of my existing tables. It just adds a new table to the database called "contents".... right?

All it needs to do is add the contents and history tables so it should not effect any existing tables or database structure. PowerCMS was originally developed in a PowerStore site, so I'm sure there are no conflicts.
You could always run a test to make sure, or run it in a separate database and move the tables after they are created. The SQL script should only need to create tables.
