View Full Version : Don't Receive Sent Test Messages

I setup the Contact Form Solution Pack's according to the instructions. That is, I set the WAGLOBAL_Email_To to my email address and left the WAGLOBAL_Email_Server as the default (unspecified). After sending the message, I get a Thank you message, as expected. However, I never received the email. I then put in my hosting providers SMTP value into the Email Server field (like I do for another email program that I use), but still I don't receive an email. I even tried leaving the Email To value as blank and I still get a Thank You note.
How can I troubleshoot this? Very puzzling.

I had the same problem, I thought, yesterday. Did you check your spam folder? I went to sleep last evening all confused about why it wasn't working, but this morning the message was on my Blackberry, but still not in my Inbox. Finally, I checked in Spam and the message was there! I left the WAGLOBAL_Email_Server as the default.

Most likely it is your spam filter.

Still no luck. I am testing the site as if I am the visitor and I am using my MSN account in the To: field in the Globals file and I am leaving the server field as "". My site is hosted on godaddy.com. Is there anything special I should be setting or doing? Thanks in advance.

Please post a support incident. Somebody can help you debug what is happenning.
