CSS Menu unable to display pound symbol?

Hi,

I can't seem to put a £ symbol in my CSS menu. Is this not possible?
I've tried using the symbol, and also the HTML code for that symbol (£).

It all looks fine in DW, but when I look online the ampersands are replaced with a weird capital A with an accent ^ on top.

Is there a workaround?

Weird...I updated the menu via the CSS Menu properties panels with both a £ symbol and the HTML code for a pound sysmbol and it didn't update my menu.

I edit the menu.asp file direct, and it updates! Weird one!

Anyway, using the HTML for a £ symbol solved it for me, I just couldn't do it via the properties panels.

It might be possible to use the html encoded value instead of the symbol itself.
