I have been trying to get the starter kit loaded on my mac. All i get is the web assist blue page and the small icon that flashes, this just keeps flashing for ever. I am clicking on the start.htm page as instructed. What else have I missed?

There is an issue we recently discovered wit hthe captivate movies not loading properly with the most recent Flash update.

unfortunately we do not have a fix to the issue other than opening the swf files directly to play them.

I stumbled upon this site during my Google search to learn about database driven applications. I registered specifically to download this Database Starter Kit as it looked very well thought out and I especially liked that even a novice user could work with it and also to possibly purchase the DataAssist Extension once I mastered this learning tutorial. I was very disappointed that I couldn't get this to work. I even tried playing the swf files individually but they don't play properly as well...they just zoom through the whole content very fast over and over. Do you plan to update this kit in the future? Is there a text alternative that we can download? I didn't see a pdf file in my distribution.

You may want to post a note on the Database Starter Kit page about it not working properly with the recent flash upgrade so others can get a heads up.

I do appreciate the time you put into this kit and that you offer it for free.

I too am a little disappointed. I purchased the whole suite... The other documentation is pretty clear but I can not figure out how to open the files on my mac to watch the video. As a matter of fact all I see are html files.
