3 column layout, content moving down

I have created a 3 column layout with a jquery event calendar in the centre column.

I have got the calendar working nicely with a php recordset, but I have a problem with layout
Content in either the right or left columns forces the calendar object down .

Ok, i fixed it, i had a clear:both in my css which I hadn't noticed
