Hi there.

Installed WA SI 3.04 today and when trying to run it (after sucessful vaildiation) it just doesn't seem to be doing anything.

System spec is:

Win 7 Ultimate
6GB triple channel ram
i7 8 core processor
DW CS3
20mb cable internet

This should be more than enough for this to work.

The main WA Site Tools Panel just says 'processing...' and the 'site reports' tab in the results window at the bottom of the page shows nothing. I have tried 3 times this morning, waiting from 5 to 15 mins each time but no joy.

I saw a nother posting where the user said it took hours, but this is not getting anything within for the first 15mins - thats not right is it.??

I did remove the previous version via the extension manager as advised, and installed 3.04 fresh.

I've tried pausing, stopping.. nothing works. If I close DW down to get rid of the SI window, and then opening DW again and go to the site files for that project, all I have is a .txt filkes called WAImportLog.txt that has the following line:

Importing URL: http://www.xxxxx.net (xxxx being the site name)

All my other WA modules seem to work fine.

Help please :-)

TONY

I am not able to reproduce a problem importing this site.

try deleting the Dreamweaver cache file from the users configuration folder:
http://assets.webassist.com/technotes/common_installation_issues.pdf

also make sure there are no special characters, including dots in the path you are using to import the site to.

Morning..

No joy. Done everything you asked:

- deleted the cache file, no joy.
- un-installed then reinstalled the extension, no joy.
- changed the receiving directory to a foilder on my desktop (and not the server) just in case that was causing a problem, no joy.
- and just tried again going straight into a folder on the c drive, no joy.

All I seem to end up with is a WAImportLog.txt file with "Importing URL: http://www.fovia.net" as the only entry.

What next please.

When I click on the window to select an option, its blank. Nothing to select. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and deleted the dreamweaver file in us configuration, and still no luck.

Please add me to the solution list for this problem.

what is the version and bui;ld number of your Dreamweaver installation? To find this, go to Help -> About Dreamweaver.

when the about screen opens, click it once, this will list the Dreamweaver Version and build number. Please post this back

also, what version of Site Import are you using?
