View Full Version : Extension component files out of date?

When trying to install 'new' upgrades to DW extensions using Adobe Extension Manager, I have to click on 'no, don't replace this file' hundreds of times because the Manager reports the version being installed is older than existing, and yet all extensions are being upgraded with the latest version. As a result I am now forced to click on 'Yes to all' which means I end up with 'older' versions of the various component files - there is no alternative 'No to all' button!

I believe this is causing me all sorts of practical problems (such as MenuAssist not always updating the page being edited, so requiring manual intervention).

Hi Nigel. WebAssist assure us that to choose the option "Yes to all" is fine. None of the files being overwritten are crucial, they are mainly images and stuff that never changes. So "Yes to all" is OK. This has been mentioned several times throughout these forums.
