Error-#1046- No database selected!

I tried to import the free ecommerce mysql database in phpyMyAdmin and I receive this error MySql said: #1046- No database selected! Any ideas on what I need to do next?

you need to select a database from the list on the left hand side before clicking on the SQL tab.

You can Create a new database on the home tab if you wish.
