Now we've CS5 and WA is updating for compatibility is it better not to upgrade WA extensions if staying with CS4?

You should still update. We will continue testing on CS3 and CS4 as well as CS5 for the time being. You would not want to update if you are on Dreamweaver 8.

Thanks Ray. Seeing the issues solved by updates means that's good advice. I'll start saving for CS5 soon though.
