Greetings!

I gotta say I love Web Assist products as they really help a non-coder like me do a lot of stuff without having to pass a lot of work of to the "pure PHP" coders.

However, I have to say that while with the new site, you have a lot more tutorials and documentation to offer. I think you need to really increase the training on your site.

For example we are probably all familiar with Lynda.com's Dreamweaver Training series (which are excellent and in-depth). But what I would like to see is a similar Web Assist Dreamweaver training series on how to do almost everything with your own Web Assist Products. Imagine, a series on how to use eCart from scratch and much more!

This is something I would definitely pay for! As I really feel that I am not using your Web Assist products to their full advantage and the power of your products is such that I should be able to do most everything the "from scratch" programmers do using your tools.

How about Web Assist certified experts?? A job forum on your site for Web Assist experts that we could go to?

I hope you will consider adding something like this or working in conjunction with someone like Lynda.com to offer a training series.

Best regards,

Martin

Hi Martin,

Thanks for your post. We are working on building up our libary of training, with an emphasis on product (and cross-product) specific training.

We've also tossed around the certification idea, but realize we need to build up the training to get there. Appreciate the feedback.

Best - Joe

Thanks for the reply Joe, I have read your Dreamweaver Bible's in the past and they were exceptional. So I would look forward to anything you guys produce.

I must say that I did quite like Mark Fletcher's approach in the CSS Menus Starter Kit for Photoshop. Seeing how he went from concept to finished file was very interesting and using the Adobe Captivate format (of making it interactive) is also an extremely good way to learn.

What I would like to see is how to use your programs effectively to accomplish certain tasks, for example an entire e-commerce site from start to finish. Complete scenario based training would be very effective I think!

I personally have had experience producing training tutorials for a dental training site my company runs called www.cerecmadeeasy.com and while I am revamping the entire site I can definetly relate as to how much time and work go into tutorials!

Cheers,

Martin
