I'm very interested in purchasing.
However, I have a few questions.

1. Would I be able to remove iRite and hook this up with Adobe Contribute software for editing?

2. Would I need to purchase an SSL certificate for the administrative part of the site in order for this to be secure? What type of security features come with the help instructions?

3. Do you have the administrative part of the site completely separate from the web folder?

Thank you for answering.

Contribute can only handle static HTML pages. I don't see any coexistence between PowerCMS and Contribute. Contribute has a few more features than PowerCMS but it costs more and editor/admin users need Contribute to be installed on their PC. I have a lot of customers working with Contribute, but there are also many, that don't want to spend that much money. For them - I guess - PowerCMS seems to be the perfect alternative.

1) No... as this user describes contribute works directly with the .html page. It would not work with dynamic pages which is required for power cms.

2) You can make a section of your web site secure in many ways. SSL certificate is probably not helpful for security in this case. More likely challenge/response permission level security or something like SecurityAssist can be easily integrated.

3) No. It works through your web site, so it has to be in the web folder. It would make sense to put it in a subfolder and set the permissions on that folder so it can't be accessed without user identification.
