Digital File Pro 2 - Full size and thumb upload?

Can DFP2 automatically create a thumbnail with a full size image upload? I don't want to have to do two separate uploads.

Hi,
I wonder if dfp could use more of the great GD library? There many more picture manipulation possibilities, one of them is "crop region". One of my clients sells blackout curtains, stage canvasses and what have you.
It needs to display one larger picture like 400x400 px and several small ones 80x40 to show the structure but in different colors.
So, simple crunching will blur out the structure, cropping wouldn't.

Any suggestions?
