Hi
I've been using the old interakt CSS menus 2 for quite a while now, great great product but getting a bit old now and I use CS3. I've been waiting for someone else to release a similar product. To take things further I've been looking something that will support database driven (PHP MySQL) multi Column top menus. Just like the ones you have on your webassist site.
Is this supported or going to be supported?
TIA
Mark.

This is supported in our CSS Menu Writer v2 product: http://www.webassist.com/software/css-menu-writer/

Hi Ray
Thank you for the quick response. I looked over the sample menus you list with the product details but couldn't see what i was looking for. Can you confirm you can create a horizontal menu the same as you use for your own webassist horizontal navigation. One box with multiple columns of options. I've handcoded the css for a similar menu and its a complex thing. The ones in the demos are all multi level fly outs.
Also how does the database structure work on your product? the Interakt CSS menus uses a single db table for all levels of the menu.
TIA

For a greater understanding of how dynamic menus work in CSS Menu Writer 2, you may want to review the following How To.

Hiya Neil.
Thanks i can see more or less how it works. I'm interested in the end result CSS rendering of the menus and whether or not what I want can be produced before I buy, specifically a horizonal menu that has a drop down box with multiple columns the same as you use for the webassist site.
I have produced these manually, but im looking for a tool that can do it quickly out of the box.

There is a 15 day return policy, so I would suggest trying it and seeing for yourself if you can be successful.
It will write the css and menu structure out of the box. It is what we used to create our site, but we of course had to write some code by hand. How much depends on the specific features you are trying to add and how difficult it is depends on your experience level.

Thanks Ray.
i might just give it a go. I have no problem hand coding stuff (well im back on the learning curve again moving from asp to php mainly due to you guys ending support for it which i understand the reasons for). But something thats a 50% fit for what I want will still save me a lot of time. I'm assuming there would be plenty of help from you guys to produce what i'm after.
:)
I did like the expandable vertical menu option in the interakt version. Which would be a nice addition at some point.
