Product Specific
Q: Do I need to own Dreamweaver to use CSS Form Builder?
A: Yes, You will need Dreamweaver CS3, CS4 or CS5 to run CSS Form Builder.
Q: How does CSS Form Builder work with eCart?
A: CSS Form Builder integrates with eCart for the sending of an order confirmation/purchase receipt. eCart will automatically recognize CSS Form Builder if you have it installed and provide the necessary step in the Checkout Wizard for adding the email functionality.
Q: Will I be able to use CSS Form Builder to mass email?
A: The Email Limits feature of CSS Form Builder does allow you to bypass some of the email send limitations set by hosting providers. However, in many cases, the limitations set by your hosting provider may make it unrealistic to send a very large number of emails, since it could take multiple days to complete the process.
You should check with your hosting providers limits, and how many email addresses you are sending to, to determine if this is a practical application for you.
Q: Will my CSS Form Builder form send an email or insert to a database?
A:
CSS Form Builder can add the necessary email functionality to any form you create for sending emails such as contact forms. Additionally, CSS Form Builder will apply file upload functionality to your forms if you specify a file field on your form.
CSS Form Builder does not currently have the ability to insert data to a database. If you want to add this type of functionality to your form when the form is submitted, you can apply DataAssist Insert Record Behaviors included in Data Bridge to the form after you have created the form in CSS Form Builder.
Q: Can the integrated extensions be used outside of the form builder interface?
A: With the release of CSS Form Builder 2 we have integrated the following extensions: Universal Email, Digital File Pro, Validation Toolkit, and HTML Editor. The functionality previously provided with each of these extensions can be used outside of the CSS Form Builder interface.
Q: Can I use CSS Form Builder to modify my existing forms?
A: Yes. CSS Form Builder has the ability to import form fields that already exist on a page, so that you can modify the functionality and design through the easy-to-use interface. However, once imported into CSS Form Builder, you will need to make additional modifications to specify the type of form element, and any validation you wish to use.
